Plyometric Boxes


Level: Intermediate
Regression: Step-ups on a lower surface
Progression: Depth jumps or more complex box jump variations

Stand in front of a plyometric box/step with feet shoulder-width apart. Bend your knees and push upwards, jumping onto the box with both feet. Step back down carefully, landing softly. Repeat the explosive jump for an effective plyometric exercise.

How to do:

1. Inhale deeply, then exhale as you explosively jump onto the box.

2. Upon landing, immediately inhale as you prepare for the next jump.

3. Maintain a consistent breathing rhythm for a controlled and effective plyometric box exercise.


Prioritize safety, start with proper warm-up, choose suitable box height, focus on form, engage core, progress gradually, stay hydrated.
